Spicy frozen Calabria pizza by Roberto Caporuscio: 'Nduja cream blended with red pepper and honey, layered with homemade mozzarella, Pecorino Crotonese, spicy Spianata salami by Golfera and finished with hot red pepper jelly. A regional creation from southern Italy, hand-stretched in our Manhattan pizzeria.

Ingredients: 'nduja, red pepper, honey, mozzarella, Pecorino Crotonese, Spianata salami, red pepper jelly.

All frozen products must be placed in the freezer as soon as delivered to you. Remove the pizza from the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 500F, allow pizza cook for 2.30 - 3.15 min in house oven or 2.15 - 3 min in commercial oven.

Is the Calabria pizza the same one served at your Manhattan pizzeria?

Yes, it is the same recipe. The 'Nduja cream, the Pecorino Crotonese, the Spianata salami by Golfera and the homemade mozzarella are the ones our cooks use on every Calabria served in-house. The pizza is flash-frozen within a couple of hours of baking.

Is the Calabria pizza gluten free?

No. The Calabria contains gluten, since the Caputo dough is not gluten free, although the 'Nduja and the Spianata themselves are. For a gluten free option, the gluten free line is made with Caputo Fioreglut, a dedicated gluten free flour.

How spicy is the Calabria pizza?

It is one of the spicier pizzas on the menu. The 'Nduja cream and the hot red pepper jelly bring the heat, balanced by the Pecorino Crotonese and the honey in the 'Nduja cream. The spice level is central to the recipe.

Since trying Keste I have come to realize I am a pizza snob! I like trying new tastes but I always go back to a good pepperoni pizza! Although the crust was amazing, this pizza had an interesting taste but again I am a snob. I will not order again, I can’t wait to try a pepperoni pizza from Keste! My adventurism is over, back to the basics!
