The frozen Diavola pizza is the spicy red classic of Italian cuisine: Caputo Super Nuvola dough, San Marzano area tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, basil and spicy Soppressata that brings the heat. Hand-topped in our Manhattan pizzeria, the way generations of Italians have known the Diavola.

Ingredients: Home Made Dough with Caputo Super Nuvola and Type 1 Imported Italian Peeled Tomato, Spice Soppressata, Extra Virgin Oil.

All frozen products must be placed in the freezer as soon as delivered to you. Remove the pizza from the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 500F, allow pizza cook for 2.30 - 3.15 min in house oven or 2.15 - 3 min in commercial oven.

What is the difference between Soppressata and pepperoni?

Soppressata is an Italian dry-cured pork salami with a coarse grind, traditionally made in central and southern Italy. The spicy version gets its heat from real chili pepper. Pepperoni is a finer, softer Italian-American sausage seasoned with paprika. Soppressata is drier and more pepper-forward, and it holds its shape well under oven heat.

How spicy is the Diavola pizza?

Medium-hot. The spicy Soppressata brings real chili-pepper heat, balanced by the sweetness of the San Marzano sauce and the fresh mozzarella. It is a classic Italian Diavola heat level rather than an extreme one, so most people who enjoy medium-hot peppers find it comfortable.

Is the Diavola pizza gluten free?

The pizzas arrived in perfect condition, fully frozen.
After eating for years at Keste in New York, we tried the frozen pizzas. Two Diavola, a Vegana and a Margarita.
They were outstanding, almost as good as eating them in person!
I followed instructions - three minutes in a 500 degree oven. They were great, but could have used a little more time heating.
