All frozen products must be placed in the freezer as soon as delivered to you. Remove the pizza from the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 500F, allow pizza cook for 2.30 - 3.15 min in house oven or 2.15 - 3 min in commercial oven.

Where does the Italian sausage on this pizza come from?

The sausage is house-spiced in our Manhattan pizzeria with a blend of pork, fennel and pepper that Caporuscio brought from Italy. It bakes raw on the dough, so the oils release into the mushrooms and tomato sauce as the pizza cooks.

Is the Mushrooms and Sausage pizza spicy?

No. The Italian sausage is fennel-forward and mild, not the spicy Calabrian variety. The fresh mozzarella and Grana balance the savory side, and there is no chili or hot pepper added, so the pizza stays mild.

Is the Mushrooms and Sausage pizza available gluten free?

Not as a dedicated gluten free version at this time. The pizza uses Caputo Super Nuvola wheat dough. For gluten free options the catalog includes a Margherita made with imported Caputo Fioreglut.

Perfect crust, excellent crispy fine ground sausage, mushroom flavor so satisfying, cheese perfection.

Too small for the price. Tastes slightly better than frozen pizza.

I will have to agree with the reviewer who said the pizza lacked toppings and sauce, but it was delicious. The crust was excellent and delivery was quick and free as I purchased 4 pies. Looking forward to the Pistachio e Salsiccia, looks great.

I enjoyed this pizza. A personal preference would be to have a little more sauce.
