Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Vegana pizza contain any animal products?
No. The recipe uses no mozzarella, cheese, honey, butter or eggs. The Caputo Super Nuvola dough is made with flour, water, salt and yeast. The toppings are tomato sauce, peppers, mushrooms, artichoke, zucchini and grape tomatoes, finished with extra virgin olive oil and salt. For strict dietary needs we recommend contacting our support team for the latest production procedure.
Where do the vegetables on the Vegana pizza come from?
The tomatoes in the sauce and the grape tomatoes on top are imported from Italy. The peppers, mushrooms, artichoke and zucchini are prepped in our Manhattan kitchen. The pizza is frozen after baking.
Do I need to adjust the cooking time for the Vegana pizza?
Thaw the pizza at room temperature for at least 30 minutes before cooking. The cooking time is the same as the other pizzas: 2:30 to 3:15 minutes at 500°F in a home oven, or 2:15 to 3 minutes in a commercial oven. The vegetables release some moisture, so add about 30 seconds if you prefer a drier surface.

Best ever Gluten Free Pizza

I ordered 4 pizzas, one of them being the Vegan. I’m not Vegan but just love my Veggies. This pizza took me back years to a time where getting authentic Italian was easy for me when I lived in the UK.
The pizza was delicious and every bite was awesome. I would recommend this pizza to everyone, vegan and non vegan.

Veggie puzza

Didn’t care for the veggie pizza…I guess the taste was ok but it was soggy after it was cooked. I even cooked it longer but crust stayed soggy. Hopefully the other pizzas that I haven’t tried yet are good!

Vegan Pizza

From the description and appearance the Vegan
Pizza looked so good ~ finally, one I wanted to try. I was able to list what toppings they offer. When my Pizza arrived I opened it right away.
The amount of toppings was less than is shown in the order photo. I was disappointed ~ I would love to give them my business because finding a really good mail order one I would love. Please increase the amount of the veggies you offer. Thank you.
