Frequently Asked Questions

Is the gluten free Vegana pizza spicy?
No. The vegetable topping is mild, with no chili and no hot spices. It is built on peppers, mushrooms, artichoke, grape tomatoes, zucchini and mixed vegetables over tomato, on the Fioreglut gluten free dough.
What flour is the gluten free dough made with?
The dough is made with Caputo Fioreglut, a gluten free flour mix from Mulino Caputo in Naples. The blend is based on gluten free wheat starch with corn starch, buckwheat flour, rice starch, vegetable fiber and guar. For questions about certification or production procedures, please contact our support team before ordering.
What is the difference between the gluten free Vegana and the regular Vegana?
The toppings are the same on both: tomato, peppers, mushrooms, artichoke, grape tomatoes, zucchini and mixed vegetables. Neither version carries cheese or any other animal ingredient. The dough is what changes, with Caputo Fioreglut replacing the Caputo Super Nuvola wheat blend.

Gummy raw texture

The GF pizza almost never fully cooks following the directions for the amount of time and temp in the oven. The outside circumference will be cooked but the inside will be completely raw dough. And if I leave it in the oven for longer than suggested, the outside will be too tough and the inside will still be uncooked. I always have to throw away the middle because I do not want to eat raw dough. It's not just been this order, but all the orders I have ordered. I always give it another chance thinking it could've been just that batch and also because it's hard to find good GF pizza. Very disappointing because the pizza at the restaurant was never a disappointment and so delicious.

Gluten free at its finest

I’ve recently discovered I’m gluten intolerant (who knew). I’ve been trying various gluten free option products and this pizza by far is one of the best. Fresh ingredients, excellent crispy crust, no dry or grainy like others I’ve sampled. Can’t wait to check out the lasagna.

Finally pizza worth eating

I have been gluten free/dairy free for ten years and one of the things I miss most is real pizza. I have been disappointed too many times to count at attempts to capture real pizza taste made gluten free/dairy free but this pizza is exceptional and made me happy! I had to cook it a bit longer than directed to get the crust just right (crispy) but once achieved it was pretty darn good! Not exactly the same as pizza made with gluten and cheese, but by comparison to other gluten free/dairy free versions, it was delicious and I will DEFINITELY be ordering it again. It is pricey but worth the cost to not feel deprived while others around me are indulging in pizza ecstasy, lol.
